Human Recognition Systems Wins Awards

HRS wins Frost and Sullivan Award and is shortlisted for Computer Weekly's best places to work in IT

Human Recognition Systems (HRS) - the UK's largest independent identity system integration and biometric consultancy has recently reinforced their reputation for delivery and innovation by winning the Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Leadership OTY Award 2009. The award is in recognition of the company's excellence in creating value for its customers through advanced products and services based on cutting-edge biometric technology and highly responsive customer support system.

The award was judged on three key criteria: Responsiveness to customer needs, technological superiority - edge over the competition and value-added services, joint ventures [providing] additional benefits to customers. Frost & Sullivan performed rigorous research and analysis on all manufacturers in the biometric domain and judged Human Recognition Systems to have demonstrated evidence in each of the criteria, exceeding all other companies in this domain. The dedicated efforts to add value to customer business thus make HRS the worthy recipient of the 2009 Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Leadership Award of the Year in the European biometrics market.

Computer Weekly, Best Places to Work in IT 2009

In addition to winning the Frost & Sullivan award Human Recognition Systems have also been shortlisted for Computer Weekly's Best Places to Work in IT, 2009 Awards. This award has particular significance because this year Computer Weekly ruled that employees would judge the competition. Computer Weekly considered that the most powerful measure of success would be to get employees to vote by answering a comprehensive questionnaire. This is the first time Human Recognition Systems has entered the competition and being shortlisted in a year where Computer Weekly have received more entries than ever is a real achievement.

CEO, Neil Norman comments "I started Human Recognition Systems in 2001 with a clear vision to establish a company which was recognised as an innovator and pioneer in the field of biometrics. Receiving the Frost & Sullivan Award not only reinforces that belief, but also recognises the pride and passion my team have put into our projects over the years and the confidence and opportunities our customers have given us. Being a finalist in the 'Best Places to Work in IT' also gives you some insight to our secret to success: our people. Our core value "Trusting, Valuing & Loving" really defines us!'
