FALLS CHURCH, Va., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation has certified CSC's Test Lab facility, clearing the company to continue biometric technologies research.
CSC says its West Virginia-based Test Lab has received an International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission accreditation from the A2LA.
With the international accreditation, CSC's Test Lab, located in a top secret cleared facility, is officially certified to conduct ongoing biometric and identity management calibration and testing research.
"This achievement is an endorsement of CSC's expertise and knowledge in the identity management and biometrics fields," Aaron Fuller, CSC North American Public Sector Enforcement, Security and Intelligence Group president, said in a statement.
"Our seamless integration of identity systems, policies and procedures provides clients with enhanced security and stronger identity protection while lowering operating costs through the enhancement of existing business processes."
