Biometrics Replaces Passwords for Secure Web Site Logon

myBiodentity Corp has released my-iWallet, an online logon application with biometric authenticaation scan and automatic form capture and fill-in. Unlike software that uses typed passwords to protect access to programs and web sites, my-iWallet utilizes personal traits such as finger, face, voice, or biosmartcard scans to protect business and home users, supporting multiple user accounts in the one application. In addition, the program has several beneficial features such as a credit card blocker to prevent unauthorized users from using a credit card via that computer, and web site URL’s white and black lists to restrict the sites visited. The Platinum version includes a Virus Scanner with regularly updated dictionary.

my-iWallet uses US Department of Defense specified AES encryption together with biometric scanning to grant access to your online accounts and applications. Web logon is faster and safer because my-iWallet unquestionably confirms your personal identity, and automatically fills in access forms with your ID and password data. You no longer have to worry about stolen passwords or keyboard capture viruses because web site logon is handled by the program and no keyboard action is required, just a quick and simple scan of either your finger, face, or voice as an identifier.

It's easy to find the right ID and password information. my-iWallet uses an intuitive labeling system for grouping confidential information by category. You can even import access information into my-iWallet, and of course there is a built in backup to safeguard the encrypted database in the event of data loss caused by a hard drive failure or virus.

Many computer users have their identities stolen because they use the same easy-to-discover passwords for all of their secure sites and programs. my-iWallet’s built in password generator creates long, non-intuitive passwords that use uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation characters. While these strong passwords are extremely difficult to hack and to likewise remember, they are processed instantly by my-iWallet which supports a range of cost efficient biometric scanners, including the home style web cams for face verification.

The software can process an unlimited number of users, with unlimited categories, accounts and web sites per user, all with administration control override. my-iWallet's intuitive interface makes it quick and easy to identify the proper account information through a simple scan.

While locks and keys must be changed for security when an employee leaves and likewise passwords need to be changed which is a burden on business, the only person who is aware of the initial password for an account can be the my-iWallet Administrator and thus there is no need to alter logon passwords regularly or when an employee leaves. No fear of internal fraud, because the user is known by their own personal trait, account passwords are never exposed, and account logon’s are tracked.

Whether you're a business person government department who needs a fast, secure way to access private Internet sites from Banking and e-Commerce to Medical Records Military, a home user who wants to protect PayPal, Ebay and even Myspace passwords and control credit card and web site access, or a parent who wants to keep the kids from accessing certain web sites or entering credit card information online, my-iWallet has the tools possibly needed by a user.

my-iWallet runs under Windows XP/Vista/2000/2003"., costs $39(US) for a single-machine license, and may be purchased securely online from http://www.my-iwallet.com where an overview video explains the application features and benefits. Multi-machine discounts are available, and personal licenses are even more affordable. A Free Social Network version is also available. my-iWallet works with a wide variety of popular finger, face, and voice devices which are available on the web site.
